Fun at the swings

This is James's new favourite thing - playing on the swings. He gets very indignant when it's time to go back in the pushchair.

Sleeping like a baby

I don't know how he does this, but Mab is often able to help James into a peaceful slumber by just holding him on his lap. He always fidgets for me.

Keeping safe and warm

Thanks to ebay we now have a fire guard to keep James's fascination with the stove at a safe distance

Out with the old, in with the new

Just as I was having two wisdom teeth removed, James has produced two teeth of his own. They are not visible from the photo as they have only just pierced the skin.



Not half as impressive as these whoppers.










It's pureed food all round then - here is hamster-face making soup for lunch.

Fun day in the park

Today we went to the park to visit the cows, play on the new swings, forage for conkers, quack at the ducks, look for the Kingfisher and enjoy the good weather.












Once home the Conker Conquest began and so far I've been accused of cheating, supplying duff conkers, damaging said conkers on transit from field to home, hitting too hard and spending far too much time playing instead of doing "jobs"...guess who's winning?

Bathtime

It's been a while since we blogged a cute picture of James in the bath, so here he is having the avocado removed from his hair.

Masterchef Mabs

It was apparent last night that my husband had been watching celebrity masterchef when this delightful feast emerged from the kitchen. Somewhat haphazard presentation, but it tasted nice.
