Happy 2nd Birthday Elisha!

We had a lovely time at Elisha's birthday party today.
















They had lots of lovely toys for the children to play with...









...and a few for the Daddies to play with too!









James had fun on a rocking cow...













...and Jess did a great job organising the games - here she is singing one of James's favourites - "heads, shoulders knees and toes".













And all the while 4 week old baby Amy was as good as gold.
















And as if that wasn't enough silliness for one day, Judge James and Barrister Burgess issued a court order that there shall be no further toilet seat purchases by any members of this household!

Bog standard

...latest update - it would appear that toilet seat number 5 had a scratch on, so it too went back to the shop. We are now back to original toilet seat and Lou has concocted "plan B" which is to paint said toilet seat along with bath pannel, skirting, shelving etc as part of an overall bathroom makeover. Let's hope the choice of paint colour is sightly more straightforward - something tells me that may be wishful thinking...

Lou's Loo

Well, we are now on our 5th toilet seat in 2 days. Lou has found a new hobbie of interior design but seemed to have forgotten the design bit when she went to buy a new toilet seat for the revamped bathroom, not once but...well the rest is history. Made James and me laugh alot.

Congratulations Mr & Mrs Stanley!

Jon Stanley married Clea on Saturday 22nd April 2006. The bride was beautiful, the venue was grand, the weather was superb, the food was divine... The happy couple are now headed off to India for a three week honeymoon. Many congratulations to you both.





Ivor did a superb job as best man, despite being in recovery from chicken pox.






Bex is also doing an amazing job being a great mummy just seven weeks after giving birth to Molly by caesarean.

James enjoyed his day and loved getting cuddles from all the guests. He was very good and only squawked once. Sorry Ivor that it was in the middle of your speech, but all credit to the speech - it was the erruptions of laughter from the crowd that upset him!

Thanks for letting us stay with you Ivor and Bex - it was lovely getting to know Molly at last. We hope to see you all again soon.

A visit from Sarah and Ryan

Today we played with the Kitto and her gorgeous two year old, Ryan. Sarah is blooming at 32 weeks pregnant. Lovely to see you both - look forward to seeing you again soon!
