Congratulations David and Ronnie

Last weekend Mark's cousin David got married to Ronnie. It was a fantastic wedding noted particularly for the procession of tractors which followed the happy couple from the church to the reception at the farm.

James thought this little tractor was great.

James and Daniel look set to be great mates as they have started playing together for the first time. Here they are enjoying a trailer ride across the fields.

A place to call our own

On Friday we took possession of Sunnyside. We have been busy over the weekend cleaning and emptying the house of junk, and we haven't even finished the downstairs. It's amazing how much dirt a few spiders can make in the space of five years.

Whilst Mum and I tackled the kitchen and Pops went in search of a wine cellar (which sadly didn't materialise), the Bid and the But spend Saturday afternoon transforming an overgrown patch of the vegetable garden into this -
f
ive beautiful rows of potatoes and a few shallots.

Our neighbours gave us this old aerial photograph showing the garden in it's

prime (complete with busy gardener to the far right of the garden). This is a lot to live up to - I think we might lay a bit more of it to lawn!

Grandpa's Allottment

Hoorah, I'm over my sickness bug and firing on all cylinders, so today we went over Grandpas allottment to play in the mud, ride in the wheelbarrow and cause all round general mischief.

Grandpa showing me how his new mini rotavator works..

..then daddy had a go and .... oops

then mummy had a go.... look out Sunnyside.

Then home for teatime.
