Big boy's bed
It has become more and more apparent that, at nearly five months old, young Jennifer is just too big for the moses basket. We had hoped to make it last until the move to Sunnyside, but Mab has spent too many nights on the sofa after being pushed out of bed by a growing girl, so we have bitten the bullet and splashed out on a toddler bed for the grand sum of £15 from ebay. Both babies are very happy with their new beds. James's reaction was priceless. This clip was taken after he had calmed down a bit!
Ploughing the fields
Today the Bastables had an open day on their farm. We had fresh milk
from the tank, tea and cake on the lawn of Mrs B's beautiful garden, we played in the big tractors and had a trailer ride across the fields. All in all it was a thoroughly enjoyable afternoon.
Burgess birthday bench
We now have seating provision at sunnyside, albeit outdoors. Thanks to Mum, Dad, Jon and Han for my last year's birthday present which we finally got around to ordering. We managed to comfortably seat seven on it today - admittedly that included James and Jennifer, but it's a good size for afternoon siestas.
