Happy Fathers' Day!
Much as we love our little lake in the heart of the Kentish countryside, its 250m circuit wasn't going to cut it for our friends training for the Henley 14k, so today we explored a new, much bigger lake for a long swim for the grown ups and some paddle boarding fun for the kids. What better way to spend Fathers' Day!
The funniest bit was when Kiki tried a bit of gymnastics on her paddle board, but forgot about the ankle strap!

Last of the half term fun
The sun shone brightly on the final day of the holidays, a great day to spend in our favourite lake, swimming and picnicking with good friends. We were even brave enough to abandoned the wetsuits!

Half term fun with the Northern Burgi
It has been the most wonderful of half term weeks. For the first time we were able to host all four of the Northern Burgi thanks to our new guest room in the loft. Mr & Mrs scrubbed up very well for their visit to Buckingham Palace, whilst we enjoyed a dip in our favourite lake. And today we all enjoyed a grand day out at Bodium Castle.
